Volunteering

Volunteering
We are more than just an organisation, we are a family dedicated to uplifting and supporting our local neighbourhoods.

A voluntary role here at Provide promises the development of new skills and knowledge and can help make a real difference to people in need of physical and emotional support. It isn’t just about giving back to those right next to us though, it is an invitation for you to grow, learn and connect.

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities in both hospital and community settings, from meeting and greeting families and friends, aiding service users to connect with their loved ones and transporting patients to medical appointments. There are many other volunteer roles that will be offered according to one-off service user needs and requests, so keep a close eye on our current volunteer opportunities.

Requirements:

  • be aged 18 and above
  • to not be in the ‘at risk’ COVID-19 category
  • be willing to undergo screening and a DBS check

Our current volunteer opportunities are listed below, however we are always looking to increase our pool of volunteers and are open to new ideas so please do get in touch if you feel you would be suitable.

Feel inspired or think you can contribute in a unique way? Please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator for an informal conversation by emailing: provide.volunteering@nhs.net
