Overview

Our Podiatry Service is dedicated to assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions in both adults and children.

Note: This service is exclusively available to individuals with a medical condition that significantly impacts their feet, and all referrals must meet stringent eligibility criteria.

Service Details

Our expert team comprises podiatrists, podiatry assistants, consultant podiatric surgeons, and administrative support staff. We offer a comprehensive spectrum of footcare services, including:

  • Preventative treatments for underlying medical conditions, such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Interventions to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
  • Ulcer debridement, off-loading, and tissue viability maintenance.
  • Education and guidance for effective self-management of foot-related issues.
  • Treatment of short-term problems, such as ingrown toenails, with clinics available for nail surgery under local anaesthetic.

Our goal is to assess and treat patients within 18 weeks, with priority given to those with foot ulcers.

When submitting a referral, you will need to provide a photograph of the affected toenail.
