Overview
Our Minor Operations service offers a range of minor surgical interventions, including carpal tunnel decompression and minor skin surgeries.
Service Details
We provide the following services:
- Carpal tunnel decompression.
- Minor skin surgery, including the removal of Basel Cell Carcinoma (BCC), skin lesions on the torso, legs and arms, skin tags, warts, and cysts.
- Post-operative assessment and advice, including after-care instructions.
- Any necessary follow-up procedures, such as suture removal, will be referred back to your GP.
The team
Our expert team comprises fully accredited GPs with special interests and skills in minor surgery, along with experienced nursing staff.
Eligibility Criteria
This service is available to adults registered with a GP in the NHS Mid Essex area who are over 18 years of age.
Service Delivery
Our service is available on Monday mornings and throughout the day on Tuesdays and Fridays at Braintree Community Hospital.
This service can be accessed through our Care Co-ordination Centre
