Provide Community Group Chief Executive Mark Heasman will join experts from some of the UK’s leading brands including The Savoy, Dragonfish, Metro Bank and Oracle as a keynote speaker at the annual Business Culture Connected Conference, taking place in London on Wednesday 15 November. The conference precedes the 2023 Business Culture Awards, where Mark took home the Business Culture Leadership award in 2022, and Provide Community won Best Non-Profit Organisation.

This year, Provide Community is shortlisted in a record three categories: Building a Culture of Innovation, Best Non-Profit Organisation and Leading with Purpose (large organisation) in partnership with leadership and development company, ETS.

In his session, ‘Cooking up a Culture,’ Mark will be unpacking the ingredients that have helped shape the culture he has developed at Provide Community, explaining how creating a fine culture has many parallels with creating a fine meal in that it is made up of several ingredients used in different quantities, in different ways and at different times.

Mark will take conference delegates through the nine key ingredients that he uses to cook a cracking culture and giving real life examples of what he has found to work. He will also unpack those ingredients that he has seen “simply not work” over his career and in some cases made the culture quite “bad tasting” even though on their own they can be quite attractive. Mark says the session is designed for delegates to go away with some ideas, some examples and most of all some enthusiasm to cook up a cracking future of their own.

The Business Culture Connected Conference and Awards take place on Wednesday, 15 November in London. Follow Provide Community on LinkedIn to get our latest news and updates.
